Synthetic Medium: Synthetic medium is a type of medium whose chemical composition and quantity are fully known, formulated with chemicals of known chemical composition. The chemical composition of this kind of medium is accurate and reproducible, but it is expensive, and the microorganisms grow slowly, so it is only suitable for some scientific research, such as nutrition and metabolism research.
Semi-synthetic medium: In the synthetic medium, one or several natural components are added; or in the natural medium, one or several chemicals with known components are added to form a semi-synthetic medium. For example, potato sucrose medium, etc. This medium is most used in production practices and laboratories.
The culture media bottle is a special container for storing culture medium. It is processed from polyester raw materials and generally has the following characteristics:
1. It has good mechanical properties, impact resistance is not easy to break, and its strength and elasticity are higher than other raw materials.
2. Oil resistance, fat resistance, dilute acid, dilute alkali, and most solvents.
3. Low gas and water vapor permeability, excellent gas barrier, water, oil and odor properties.
4. High transparency, can block ultraviolet rays, and have good gloss.
5. Non-toxic, tasteless, good hygiene and safety, can be directly used for food packaging.
